What I'd Tell You Anyway
Some I use on myself, some I use on clients, and some are purely for the work you do between visits. All of them have earned their place on this list.

Achedaway Scraper — $129
MOST RECOMMENDED
"This is the one I reach for when a body needs a little convincing. It releases lymphatic fluid, smooths out muscle strain and cramps, and fits beautifully in the hand. At the end of a long day I use it on my own hands and feet — and it feels absolutely yummy. It has heat, it's rechargeable, and — crucially — you can actually use it on yourself. That's not nothing." -
NeilMed Sinus Rinse
SINUS SUPPORT
"If you live in Sonoma, you already know. Add 12 drops of apple cider vinegar to the saline — the vinegar kills off any bacteria before it can turn into an infection. Start with 12 drops and work up from there. Unglamorous? Absolutely. Life-changing? Also yes." -
Banyan Nasya Oil
SINUS SUPPORT
"For when the sinuses swing the other way — dry, tight, scratchy. Tilt your head back, place 3 to 5 drops in each nostril, and sniff gently. An old Ayurvedic remedy that works quietly and well. I keep it on my bedside table." -
Trigger Point Hook
BETWEEN SESSIONS
"The knobs get into places your hands simply can't — under the scapula, deep into the piriformis for sciatica, along the spine. Hook it over your shoulder, pull gently, and let gravity do half the work. Several of my clients have adopted it and never looked back." -
Acumobility Ball
BETWEEN SESSIONS
"This is your between-sessions companion. The right size and the right firmness. Wide enough to actually do something, soft enough not to make you yelp. Use it under your feet, against a wall on your back, or under your hip. Comes with a genuinely useful manual. I recommend it constantly." -
Incrediwear Socks, Knee & Ankle Sleeves
CIRCULATION
"Works by increasing circulation rather than squeezing — genuinely comfortable all day. They make socks, knee sleeves, ankle sleeves and more. After you've had them on for a while, check that the band at the top isn't cutting in. A sock that restricts at the top defeats the whole purpose." -
White & Apple Cider Vinegar
HOUSEHOLD STAPLE
A quiet workhorse in every room. Cleaning, sinus rinse, a small amount in water internally to keep things moving. One bottle, many jobs." -
Castor Oil
HOUSEHOLD STAPLE
"For digestion and lymphatic support, put a small amount in your belly button before sleep — a warm pad on top if you like, but it works without. For skin and hair, dilute with any oil so it spreads easily. It's thick, it's old fashioned, and it works."
Pillows
Pillows are genuinely personal — some nights I just pile them all together and let my neck find its perfect position. But over the years I've found a few that consistently work for specific needs.
Here's where I'd start depending on how you sleep.

Books & Podcasts
These books cover mind, body, and spirit — the essential territory of health and wellness. I return to them often and recommend them freely.

Music
Singing bowls are what I return to.
There is something about the resonance that the body just recognises.

Using Claude for Your Health
Most of us leave a doctor's appointment with more questions than answers. Claude is a free AI tool that can translate medical reports into plain English, help you prepare questions before an appointment, and make sense of a diagnosis that felt like it landed in a foreign language. I use it with clients regularly. If you'd like a hand getting started, just ask me.
This page was designed to grow.
Check back — there's always something new worth knowing about.
Have a remedy, a book, a piece of music, a tool, or an old wives' remedy passed down through the generations? I'd love to hear about it.
Email me and if it's a good fit, we'll add it to the list. This page grows best when we grow it together!
